A prominent health insurance provider in the industry recognized the need to enhance their operations to meet the growing demands of their customers. Their manual processes and outdated systems were causing inefficiencies and hindering their ability to scale effectively.

Key Drivers for change

Allcargo's IT infrastructure was operating on a distributed data center architecture which had its own challenges associated with ensuring keeping hardware and software upto date in terms of versions. Additionally, they were looking for reliable, scalable, secured and flexible solution on pay as you go model avoiding upfront capex investments.

This project was on a time critical path covering the following business imperatives:

Solution and its Benefits

As part of the data center transformation project for Australia and South Africa, Noventiq helped to migrate 120 critical servers, 30+ database servers within a 12-hour framework, helping realize the vision of the Allcargo IT team.

Allcargo deployed Disaster Recovery (DR) within Azure for both these regions, ensuring that all necessary backups were being taken in accordance with Allcargo's compliance requirements. Noventiq also deployed and implemented Bastion services to provide individual user access to machines and made optimum use of Azure services to improve Allcargo’s flexibility and scalability significantly.

The Allcargo IT team approved a variety of technologies to develop their solutions, including Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, VPN Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery. By leveraging these technologies, Noventiq was able to improve performance, automate backups and provide a robust and reliable service.

The outcome

The implementation of the automation solution yielded the following results:
